2007-05-10. CESR issued a call for evidence on 2007-02-06 asking for views on the Commission’s questions with responses due on 2007-03-06. CESR has aimed to include the key points from the responses in this consultation paper (CP). By this paper CESR sets out its views on the questions posed in order to improve its understanding on some points of detail. With that in mind, there are a number of new questions posed in this paper. CESR asks for responses on this CP, by 2007-06-08 so that it can provide a response to the Commission’s request for assistance by its deadline of end June. CESR will hold a public hearing on 2007-05-30 at its premises in Paris. Participants are invited to register via the website www.cesr.eu under the heading Hearings.
